Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-volume retail operation processing donated clothing, furniture, and household goods. You will supervise daily workflow, drive revenue, manage costs, and ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and staff development, with accountability for P&L, safety, and compliance. Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings will be necessary to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in retail management preferred.
• Minimum one to two years in management required.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to generate revenue through daily processing of donated goods.
• Direct the daily workflow for receiving, sorting, pricing, merchandising, and selling.
• Open and close the store; balance cash registers and review end-of-day procedures.
• Staff the store by hiring, coaching, training, and leading the team.
• Ensure safety compliance and submit incident reports and maintenance requests.
• Develop and monitor budgets and KPIs; analyze production and sales data.
