Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Sales Floor Manager to supervise the daily operations of the sales floor, drive merchandise flow, and lead a team in a high-volume retail environment.

You will open/close the store, manage cash handling, and ensure a clean, customer-focused store. The role requires leadership, reliable transportation, and clear English communication to support mission delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Leadership, teambuilding, and mentoring experience and/or training.
• Prefer background in leading teams in retail sales or other sales experience.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass MVR check with valid license and insurance.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI and other programs.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supervises, and motivates store employees to ensure constant rotation and flow of merchandise to the sales floor daily.
• Supports staffing the retail store by coaching, training, developing, and leading the store team.
• Opens and closes the store; balances cash registers and conducts end-of-day procedures; responsible for cash handling including the safe, petty cash, deposits, and registers.
• Maintains a clean, hazard-free store through daily monitoring and cleaning of all areas.
• Works to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue and expense goals and supports corrective coaching and development of employees.
