Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Phi in Ewing, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead the sales floor, oversee daily operations, and achieve set sales goals.

You will recruit and mentor Customer Service Associates, maintain high standards of customer service, process transactions, de-escalate issues, and coordinate with store leadership to execute the retail plan.

Responsibilities

• Follow Goodwill policies and safety procedures with professional etiquette.
• Execute retail operations plan to achieve growth in profits, revenue, and production.
• Maintain day-to-day store operations and meet employee and customer needs.
• Open and close store and process sales transactions and returns.
• De-escalate customer situations and involve management when needed.
• Ensure loss prevention and safety compliance and adjust as required.
• Staff recruit and retain top talent and review performance.
• Provide coaching and training to develop staff skills.
• Collaborate with store leadership to align with company vision.
• Conduct inventory checks and coordinate with other Goodwill divisions.
