FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager in North Carolina to partner with the Store Manager. You’ll coach staff, drive store performance, and build customer relationships across jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

Earn $16.50–$20.00 per hour, plus unlimited commission and store performance bonuses. Benefits include wage access, employee discounts, time off, 401(k) auto-enrollment, and tuition reimbursement; flexible schedule with weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories
