Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. seeks a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Durham, NC to support the Store Manager, lead staff, and foster a customer-centric environment in a fast-paced pawn/merchandise setting.

The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $23.00, plus potential commissions on transactions and a performance bonus. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k, paid vacation, Earned Wage Access, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of management/3rd key experience.
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open/close store, count cash, safeguard assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and loans.
• Oversee inventory, loan management, merchandising, reporting.
• Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
• Maintain FirstCash operating standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
• Complete tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with staff about goals.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of Store Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
