Job summary

The Children’s Place in Norridge, IL is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing, and Leading on Duty (LOD). You will engage customers, maintain store standards, and coach associates to build brand loyalty while helping drive store profitability.

Responsibilities include payroll processing, scheduling adjustments, and ensuring safety and CRE compliance, along with strong teamwork and effective communication in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail setting is preferred.
• Experience coaching or training associates is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership by completing cash-wrap, opening and closing procedures.
• Act as Leader on Duty (LOD) and drive store profitability and customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delivering in-the-moment feedback.
• Maintain store standards, stockroom organization, and product knowledge.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Foster a positive work environment and teamwork.
• Ensure safety standards and CRE compliance are met.
