Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Destin, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee scheduling, training, visual merchandising, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention while supporting the Store Manager to meet KPIs and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a diverse team while upholding Lids standards

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and act as manager on duty when needed.
• Train and develop staff using LIDS programs and goals.
• Schedule, recruit, and manage store personnel; ensure policy compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote loyalty programs.
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and POS systems.
• Prepare for inventory audits and support shrink control.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
