Job summary

Coastal Farm is seeking a Store Associate to support daily retail operations in our Redmond, WA location. You will greet customers, answer questions, assist in product location, merchandising, signage, and inventory control.

You will train new associates on systems and procedures, create daily worklists, and occasionally cover Store/Asst Store Manager duties. Strong communication and adaptability are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser.
• Experience working in different departments of the store.
• Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities.
• Familiar with operating a computer system and email.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help locate products.
• Assist with daily store operations including merchandising, signage, and inventory monitoring.
• Train new associates on systems, procedures, and product knowledge.
• Create and implement daily worklists and goals for store staff.
• Step in for Store Manager or Assistant Manager as scheduled.
• Open and close the store as needed and scheduled.
• Lead store meetings and pursue store goals and objectives.
• Answer incoming phone calls and maintain radio communication with staff.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products and promotions.
• Support floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping.
