Job summary

Coastal Farm & Ranch in Redmond, OR is seeking a department leader to drive excellent customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising across Hardlines, Animal Health, Cashier, Clothing/Boots, or Material Handling.

You will greet customers, supervise daily operations, train associates, and step in for store leadership when needed, while ensuring signage, inventory, and store cleanliness meet Coastal Farm standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in retail.
• Experience operating a POS system.
• Experience operating Eagle Browser.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and help locate products.
• Oversee daily department operations including merchandising, display presentation, signage standards, and inventory monitoring.
• Train new associates on procedures and product knowledge.
• Create and implement daily worklists and goals for store associates.
• Assume duties of Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers when scheduled.
• Open and close the store as needed and scheduled.
• Lead store meetings and communicate store goals/objectives.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products.
• Maintain awareness of product knowledge and promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and store housekeeping.
