Job summary

Coastal-Farm- in Albany, Oregon, is seeking a store operations professional to support the store management team with daily operations, merchandising, signage, and inventory control. You will greet customers, assist them, and help locate products throughout the store.

The role includes training new associates, creating daily worklists, and stepping in for Store Manager when scheduled. You will open/close the store, lead meetings, and maintain product knowledge and displays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a retail environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser.
• Experience working in different departments of the store.
• Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and help locate products.
• Assist with daily store operations including merchandising and inventory monitoring.
• Train new associates on systems, procedures and product knowledge.
• Create daily worklists and goals for store staff.
• Step in for Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager when scheduled.
• Open and close the store as needed and scheduled.
• Lead store meetings and help drive store goals and objectives.
• Handle incoming phone calls and maintain radio communication.
• Maintain product knowledge and promotional materials.
• Support floor moves, merchandising, and store housekeeping.
