Job summary

Coastal-Farm- in Albany, Oregon, seeks a Store Manager-on-Duty to lead daily operations, maximize sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in partnership with the Store Manager. You will coordinate promotions, supervise staff, and monitor store performance to sustain profitability.

You will plan and schedule staffing, oversee inventory control, payroll budgeting, security procedures, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of operating a POS system preferred.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead staff.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales promotion activities and merchandise displays.
• Recruit, train, develop, and communicate with staff; assess performance.
• Plan and prepare work schedules for associates.
• Monitor and order merchandise to replenish stock.
• Ensure compliance with security and recordkeeping procedures.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries.
• Open/close the store when needed, including related duties.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, perform store leadership duties.
