Job summary

Duluth Trading Company in Thornton, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will lead the team in achieving sales goals while upholding Duluth's WOW service standard. You will create memorable customer experiences by guiding staff to deliver friendly, solution-driven service.

You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure flawless store operations. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor preferred.
• Minimum three years of retail experience with at least one year in a leadership role.
• Retail management experience is preferred; customer-centric mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and profitability by achieving financial goals.
• Develop KPI initiatives through Associate training and development.
• Lead and maintain merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards and current floor-set and product messaging, in addition to maintaining all current sales promotions.
• Partner with Store Manager to recruit, hire, train, motivate and lead employees.
• Ensure customer profile information is accurately recorded.
• Understand inventory and expense control; lead team in handling receipts and transfers quickly and accurately.
