Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and overall store profitability.

The role involves stocking, cashier duties, scheduling staff, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Prior supervisory experience in retail is preferred. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise staff and manage store operations.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash handling procedures; deposits.
• Assist in store management in Store Manager's absence.
