Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will oversee the store during the Manager’s absence and lead the team in serving customers.

You will participate in hiring, train and coach team members, schedule effectively, and ensure all processes from invoicing to returns are handled accurately. This role involves daily opening/closing duties and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure retail showroom staffing and execution of customer service programs during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and candidate evaluation with management.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money handling and bank deposits.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, invoicing, and merchandise processing are accurate and efficient.
