Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking an experienced General Manager/Retail Store Operations to lead store teams and orchestrate donation operations, ensuring safety, excellent customer service, and mission-driven outcomes.

You will recruit, train, and mentor Production Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and Team Leads, manage staffing and scheduling, and partner with HR to uphold standards while meeting revenue and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising production and/or retail operations.
• Experience in nonprofit or human services environments is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead retail store teams and donation operations to meet revenue and service goals.
• Foster a culture of safety, ethics and quality across store operations.
• Develop staffing models and schedules to maximize efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure high customer service standards and store cleanliness at all times.
• Collaborate with HR on rewards, promotions and corrective actions.
• Monitor budgets and drive results toward revenue and net income targets.
