Job summary

Trulieve is seeking a General Manager to lead store personnel, manage inventory, and drive regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role reports to the Area Manager and requires strong leadership in a fast-growing cannabis retail environment.

The position emphasizes accountability for service standards, team development, and adherence to SOPs, with a focus on regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations.
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure changes are communicated to employees.
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations.
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners.
• Schedule effectively within labor budget to meet the needs of the business.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
