Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop seeks a Chief Workshop Manager to lead a high‑performing team and deliver an exceptional Guest experience in Kissimmee, FL. You will guide store operations, coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, manage payroll, scheduling, and inventory, and ensure adherence to brand standards.

You’ll hire and develop talent, schedule weekly shifts, drive sales, and maintain a safe, engaging environment while meeting financial goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders to deliver a Guest experience aligned with Experience First culture.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM; lead shifts and enforce policies.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising displays, and store operations to meet targets.
• Develop a high-performing team and maintain brand standards.
