Job summary

Build-A-Bear at The Florida Mall is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager to lead the workshop and store operations. You will coach AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders to deliver an exceptional Guest experience, manage payroll, forecasting, and scheduling, and ensure adherence to brand standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to hire and promote staff while maintaining operational excellence across merchandising and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer‑centric retail setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using store tech: POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching staff to deliver a best-in-class Guest experience.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the AWM.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and escalate issues to DM/HR as required.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and compile inventories.
• Oversee inventory management processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Build a high-performing team in partnership with the AWM to deliver Guest experience.
