Applegreen is hiring an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at our Clyde, OH travel plazas. The role focuses on leadership, customer service, and hands-on store management, ensuring excellent guest experiences and adherence to brand standards.

You will supervise staff, provide feedback, and step in during GM absence, while maintaining cash control and inventory accuracy. A strong emphasis on teamwork and operations excellence is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Lead with strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues in a timely fashion.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
• Ensure the restaurant looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
• Manage cash daily and deliver reports as directed.
• Address customer needs and build positive relationships.
• Perform spot inventory counts to ensure inventory data accuracy.
