Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bolingbrook, IL to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train store associates to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, retail management experience is preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked store floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets and cash.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Follow safety guidelines and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
