Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and follow operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide training.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas, displays, and loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
