Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily tasks, assist customers, and coach associates to uphold standards across the sales floor and stockroom.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal and written skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail or grocery environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide supervision and training to store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure promotional fixtures are effective.
