Job summary

Dollar Tree in Dolton, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

In this part-time role, you will help manage day-to-day functions, assist customers, stock merchandise, and help train and supervise store associates to maintain a friendly, safe, and efficient shopping environment.

You will also handle opening/closing tasks, process corporate directives, and contribute to loss prevention and payroll-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and functions.

• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
