Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Operations Associate to maintain an efficient stockroom and support the salesfloor. You will process orders, manage inventory, and help with displays while following store policies.

Reporting to the Assistant Store Leader, you’ll join a collaborative team focused on customer service, safety, and continuous learning across systems like POS and AS400. This is a fast-paced role that rewards initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, evolving store environment.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing packages, including curbside orders, ship-from-store, buy online pickup in store, in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing the stockroom for inventory and perform assigned duties.
• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks and keep the stockroom organized.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor.
• Ensure products and displays are stocked and available for customers.
• Provide excellent service and uphold company standards in selling and teamwork.
• Greet customers, respond to questions, process payments, and involve management when needed.
• Support store safety standards and training, and practice loss prevention guidelines.
• Contribute to store profitability and operational excellence through proactive engagement.
• Drive sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
