Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Salinas, CA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and in-store recovery to keep the shelves well stocked.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred. The role supports omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store) and engagement with the Rewards program, with competitive base pay

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments
Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store)
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
Maintain store recovery and in-stock display; handle returns/go backs
Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies
