Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will help with stocking, truck unload, and maintaining store standards to uphold our Brand Promises. This role involves promoting the Rewards program, assisting with BOPIS/SFS processes, and supporting safety and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least sixteen years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise and handle returns and go-backs to keep store in stock.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Interact respectfully with others; model company vision and values.
