Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Rapid City, SD to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

This role involves assisting with Omni-channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), following SOPs, and upholding safety standards while representing our brand with a positive, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and in-stock store upkeep.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain compliance.
• Interact with others in a positive, respectful manner; be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
