Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. Charleston-West Ashley, SC store is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout experiences. Roles include unloading trucks, stocking, and keeping the floor well-merchandised with engaging customer interactions.

Team members will be trained in rewards enrollment, omni-channel processes, and store-wide SOPs while supporting safety programs and maintaining a positive store environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain merchandise recovery and backstock organization
• Support store in stock optimization and AD set duties
• Contribute to shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance
• Interact with customers and colleagues in a respectful, positive manner
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
