Job summary

Michaels in Rapid City is seeking a part-time Retail Cashier to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and manage a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and ensuring stock is neatly displayed across planograms.

The role supports BOPIS/SFS and rewards enrollment while maintaining store standards. The position requires basic retail experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.
• Minimum age 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planograms (POGs).
• Participate in store recovery, SISO and AD set duties.
• Promote the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Contribute to omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
