Job summary

Michaels in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and keeping the store in-stock and well-merchandised.

This role involves participating in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship From Store, and enrolling customers in the Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
