Michaels Stores is hiring for a store associate in the Alexandria, VA area. You will help customers locate products, provide answers, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while handling cash to standard.

The role involves stock, planogram maintenance, and participation in truck unloading and store recovery tasks. You will support omnichannel activities (BOPIS, Ship From Store) and promote our rewards programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS) and truck unloading.
• Participate in stock, planogram (POG), and merchandise recovery duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
