Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Alexandria, VA to help customers, operate the checkout, and participate in truck unloading and shelf replenishment. You will engage customers with the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Role involves assisting with omni-channel processes, stock rotation, and maintaining in-stock conditions. Strong communication and basic framing knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Support store recovery and merchandise return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Assist with shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
