Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a capable team member to assist the Station Manager in daily retail operations, supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service at our California stations.

The role requires strong cash handling, safety awareness and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with focus on loss prevention and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating cash registers and related equipment and software.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and service.
• Able to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Provide work direction to staff during shifts and ensure tasks are completed.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies.
• Respond to incidents professionally and escalate as needed.
• Perform CSR duties and manage store operations, inventory, and cash processes.
