Job summary

Chevron Stations is hiring for a Store Operations role in California. You will assist and oversee daily store functions, manage staff shifts, and ensure compliance with CSI policies while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers.
• Fast-paced retail/fuel environment experience including cash handling.
• Experience operating a POS and computer systems.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety for food handling.
• Ability to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 21+ age for CA locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager with daily store operations.
• Oversee operations in Station Manager's absence.
• Coach staff and ensure tasks meet CSI guidelines.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and policies.
• Ensure wage and hour compliance.
• Handle cash/money and accountability processes.
• Maintain safety and PPE usage.
• Provide courteous interactions with customers, vendors and community.
• Maintain attendance and perform CSR duties as needed.
• Manage inventory, stock levels and audits.
• Coordinate with other stations to limit stockouts.
