Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) is hiring for a Customer Service role at our California stations. You will assist the Station Manager, supervise staff, and ensure clean, efficient store operations while maintaining strict safety and cash-handling practices.

The position requires strong English communication, experience with cash registers, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Benefits include health packages, education reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and instructions.
• Experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment with cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register, computer console and related equipment or software.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for food storage/serving.
• Able to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager's absence.
• Provide direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies; escalate incidents as needed.
• Ensure wage and hour guidelines are followed and cash/money handling processes are observed.
• Perform CSR duties and other tasks as assigned by the Station Manager or Business Consultant.
