Job summary

Burlington Stores in Worcester, MA is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure, customer-friendly store environment. You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm smile, and support loss prevention programs to reduce theft.

You will report suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty, assist with training on shortage reduction, and uphold dress standards while staying alert and professional during all shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits to deter theft and create a safe shopping environment.
• Greet customers and associates warmly and maintain professional appearance.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs.
