MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for our Centralia Store - Broadway team. This full-time, hourly position offers a starting hourly rate of $19.50 with a monthly bonus potential of up to $500 and competitive benefits for full-time staff.

Ideal candidates have retail management experience or related Goodwill background, strong customer-service skills, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining store operations.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year retail management or Goodwill/Retail experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service and teamwork.
• Leadership, decision-making, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with registers, scheduling, and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train staff; ensure core functions are performed.
• Provide superior customer service to donors, shoppers, and staff.
• Coach employees on performance, including discipline when needed.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Protect company property and report theft or misconduct.
• Read, follow, and enforce agency policies and values.
• Coordinate staffing; arrange replacements and approve payroll.
• Drive process improvements to reduce waste.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
