MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for the Washington Store - Hwy 100. This hourly full-time role supports store operations, leads staff, and guarantees excellent donor and shopper experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; no degree required.
• 1 year of retail management or Goodwill retail/warehouse experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service and teamwork.
• Leadership skills: decision-making, motivation, goal-setting, problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff in daily functions.
• Provide superior service to donors, shoppers, and staff and handle conflicts.
• Coach employees on performance; discipline up to termination when needed.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Safeguard company property and report misuses or theft.
• Read and enforce agency policies and values.
• Utilize staffing methods; arrange replacements when necessary.
• Audit, edit, and approve payroll processes.
• Eliminate waste through process improvement.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
