MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for our Belleville store. The role focuses on supervising staff, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic retail environment.

The position is hourly, full-time, with a starting rate of $19.50 per hour. Eligible employees may earn a monthly bonus up to $500 and receive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits after meeting eligibility requirements.

Qualifikationen

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management experience or prior Goodwill Retail or Warehouse experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including customer service, conflict resolution and teamwork.
• Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation, goal-setting and problem-solving.

Aufgaben

• Supervise, direct, and train staff and ensure they perform their functions.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure donor and shopper retention and de-escalate dissatisfaction.
• Coach employees regarding performance, including discipline up to termination.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks with independent judgment.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Safeguards company property and reports theft or unethical behavior.
• Read, follow, and enforce agency policies and values.
• Utilize staffing methods; arrange replacements; audit and approve payroll.
• Eliminate wasteful practices through process improvement.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
