MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for the Belleville store. The role supports mission-driven goals and maintains store operations, staff supervision, and exceptional customer service.

The position is hourly, full-time, with opportunities to earn a monthly bonus up to $500 and benefits. Strong leadership and teamwork are essential, along with comfort with registers and inventory software.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year retail management or Goodwill/warehouse experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service and teamwork.
• Leadership skills: decision-making, motivation, goal-setting and problem-solving.
• Comfortable with registers, scheduling and inventory management software.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff and ensure they perform their duties.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service to ensure donor, shopper and staff retention and resolve issues quickly.
• Coach employees on performance, including discipline when needed.
• Assign daily duties and manage staffing to meet daily operational tasks.
• Identify candidates with proven performance for advancement.
• Protect company property and information; report theft or misconduct.
