Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for our Marion store. The role is hourly full-time with a starting rate of $19.50 per hour and a potential monthly bonus up to $500.

You will supervise staff, deliver excellent customer service, and help drive daily store operations in alignment with our mission and values. The ideal candidate has retail management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with point-of-sale and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management experience or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service and teamwork.
• Leadership, decision-making, motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with registers, scheduling, and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff to perform their duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to retain donors and shoppers.
• Coach employees and address performance issues as needed.
• Assign daily tasks to achieve store goals.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Protect company property and information; report theft or misconduct.
• Follow agency policies and dress code; maintain professional appearance.
• Coordinate staffing and payroll adjustments; approve payroll.
