MERS Missouri Goodwill in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to support our mission 'Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!' The role involves supervising staff, delivering excellent customer service, and using scheduling and inventory software.

The position offers an hourly rate of $19.50, 0% travel, full-time hours, a monthly bonus up to $500, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management or related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Familiar with registers, scheduling, and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train staff to perform core duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors, shoppers, and staff.
• Coach employees on performance and conduct disciplinary actions.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement.
• Safeguard company property and data from harm or theft; report incidents.
• Follow all agency policies and values.
• Manage staffing and payroll approvals; ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Identify waste and implement process improvements.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.
