Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensuring top-notch customer service and adherence to brand standards and food safety. You will train new team members and enforce cash handling policies.

You will manage opening/closing procedures, operate the POS system, handle product prep and stocking, cross-sell, and maintain knowledge of plaza products while supporting plaza leadership.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Report observations or concerns to plaza leadership.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
