Job summary

Walgreens in Michigan is seeking a Store Lead/Key Holder responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will also assist with deliveries via back door and support customer service.

You will supervise team members, maintain inventory accuracy, process returns, refunds, and price changes, and help create a safe, compliant, and welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid certification or license as required by state (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, and cash drops to the safe.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greets and assists customers with products and services; resolves questions to ensure positive experience.
• Keeps store keys and safeguards; supports vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Registers sales accurately, traces errors, and handles price verifications.
• Maintains inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom.
• Performs pricing tasks and ensures proper signage per policy.
• Supports housekeeping, merchandising, and displays; assists with resets and backstock organization.
