Job summary

Floor & Decor Naples is seeking a Training and Development Lead to coach Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information. You will deliver certification courses, model company values, and drive the basic P's of retail—People, Product, Presentation—while maintaining merchandising standards and showroom operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with Floor & Decor core values.
• Demonstrate understanding of the safety procedures and lift practices.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate merchandise knowledge and installation basics.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing, and organization.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates promptly.
• Complete forklift certification testing as required.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct and assist merchandise flow to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with questions and selections.
• Process checkout, refunds, and exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Follow cash, check, and card procedures.
