Job summary

Michaels in Wooster, OH is hiring for a Retail Associate. You will help customers shop, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll assist with truck unload, stocking, planograms, and omni-channel tasks such as BOPIS and SFS to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move around the store.
• Cross-trained in store processes supporting omni-channel operations.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery duties to stay in stock and well-merchandised.
