Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a store team member in Wooster, OH to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain merchandise.

You will complete fast checkouts, help unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store environment. You will engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Card programs, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and uphold SOPs and safety standards in a climate-controlled public retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products.
• Handle checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandising to keep shelves in stock and appealing.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers when appropriate.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Engage in standard operating procedures and safety policies to ensure compliance.
