Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Associate in Wadsworth, OH to help customers find products, provide friendly service, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store merchandise while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires standing for long periods and a willingness to work nights or weekends as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions
• Provide fast checkout and accurate cash handling
• Engage customers in Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Execute truck unload, stocking, and maintaining in-stock merchandise
• Support store recovery, loss prevention, and SOP compliance
