Job summary

Michaels in Virginia Beach is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance, while supporting store recovery and in-stock merchandise.

Role involves BOPIS/SFS participation, Rewards program enrollments, and adherence to SOPs. Physical requirements include standing, lifting, and occasional ladder work.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; perform cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys and omnichannel options (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) maintenance.
• Support store recovery, merchandise in-stock levels, and shrink/safety programs.
