Job summary

Michaels Columbus-Easton is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find products and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while supporting omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

The role involves standing long hours, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights/weekends as needed. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer match and medical/dental/vision coverage, plus employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planograms (POGs)
• Complete merchandise recovery and store upkeep to maintain in-stock shelves
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Assist shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies; act as a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
